The Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights

The Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights - Wayne State University
DVD loves great architecture, and Detroit is one of the best cities to view impressive buildings. Recently after my class at Wayne State University, I walked past the new Keith Center that is adjacent to the Law School building on campus. As the sun was beginning to set, I turned around to view the building and was immediately struck with its presence. The building is so new that the opening ceremony hasn't even taken place yet. To find out more about the building visit KeithCenter.wayne.edu.
What makes the building truly special is that it is a tribute to a great defender of civil rights and freedom, the Honorable Damon J. Keith. If you are not familiar with Judge Keith, click on this link to Judge Keith's biography. Looking forward to when the building opens up and checking it out!
